Lavender

The shady plain

This space leaves plenty of room for the imagination to create the setting of your dreams. Whether it's a secular ceremony in the shade of the gigantic holm oaks, dinner under a nomad tent or under the stars, or the day after your wedding, these hundred-year-old trees will tell you their story.

And let's not forget the inevitable pétanque area, where you can rediscover the spirit and ambience of Provencal villages with its natural shade or "guinguette" lighting. An essential moment of conviviality while keeping score. So, do you shoot or do you point?

THE GALLERY

The clearing

NEW for 2023: this area, designed this winter, will be much appreciated for its freshness and light effects.

In the clearing along the Canet River, which is once again in its prime, you can imagine your own decor and layout. A ceremony or a brunch in the shade of hundred-year-old oaks, arbutus or laurel trees will not leave you indifferent.

Pool area

The cocktail reception or vin d'honneur takes place around the 13x7m swimming pool (heated if required), surrounded by a magnificent travertine and wood terrace. From this space, located on the raised part of the estate, your guests enjoy a lovely view of the building and contemplate the typically Provencal landscape that surrounds the property. Vines, lavender, olive trees... the view is breathtaking!

Whether it's brunch or a cocktail, this part of the Domaine is a haven of peace where it's good to relax.

The village courtyard

Under the glow of the "guinguette", your dinner takes on the appearance of an evening with friends on a village square.

A custom-made nomad canvas can be set up for your dinner in case of rain, to shelter guests and not detract from the charm of this moment."

Olive trees

Organize an intimate wedding ceremony or dinner in the heart of the Domaine's olive trees. A symbol of peace, honor and immortality.

The renovated barn

Facing the courtyard, a fully renovated and air-conditioned 100m² barn is the perfect setting for your dance floor and musical evening with a view of olive trees and lavender. An authentic space made of glass, stone and wrought iron, ideal for setting the mood at the end of your evening. Make way for the ball!

This magnificent barn at the entrance to the Domaine is also the perfect setting for a beautiful secular ceremony, or a dinner with a sumptuous view.

Arched cellars

Facing the courtyard, 115 m² of magnificent arched cellars have been completely restored.

The charm of the exposed stonework, the true natural freshness of the period stonework and the multiple wrought-iron windows create a resolutely authentic and intimate space.

This is how this space will host your dinner or ceremony in case of bad weather.

The old barn

At the entrance to the Domaine is a typical old 90 m² barn. The charm of exposed stone and wood and the authenticity of this place have been preserved to host your ceremony or brunch in case of rain or wind.

Pro area

We take great care to ensure the satisfaction of your suppliers. Happy teams ensure happy brides, grooms and guests. The Domaine de Valbonne offers exceptional and rare facilities for you and your caterers: a large professionally-equipped kitchen (professional dishwasher, pianos, crockery...), a cold room, an ice machine, a 90m² room for setting the plates so that all your guests can dine at the same time... all the conditions are met for a delicious evening.
